Connection Details

Connection Configuration.

To create a connection string for your Azure storage account, follow the format below:

DefaultEndpointsProtocol=[http|https];AccountName=myAccountName;AccountKey=myAccountKey;BlobEndpoint=myBlobEndpoint

Example

DefaultEndpointsProtocol=https;AccountName=storagesample;AccountKey=<account-key>;BlobEndpoint=https://storagesample.blob.core.windows.net/
  • DefaultEndpointsProtocol: Protocol to use (http or https, https is recommended).
  • AccountName: Your Azure storage account name.
  • AccountKey: Your Azure storage account key.
  • BlobEndpoint: The Blob service endpoint URL.

Ensure BlobEndpoint is specified in the connection string. Either both AccountName and AccountKey are provided, or a SharedAccessSignature is provided, not both.

Find your storage account's connection strings in the Azure portal. Navigate to Security + networking > Access keys in your storage account's settings to see connection strings for both primary and secondary access keys.
